Hi All,

For those that know me, may know that my Grandad has recently been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia in addition to Alzheimer's disease. Unfortunately this has resulted in him having to be moved into a care home. My Grandad was living with his elderly sister following my Nan’s stroke a couple of years ago. Prior to this, my Nan was under a lot of strain caring for my Grandad in the early stages of his disease. We have seen first hand how ALL members of the family are impacted.

Having undertaken the Manchester Half Marathon last year, I thought why not put myself through some more pain whilst hopefully raise some funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society in the process. It really is a fantastic cause and one that that is very close to my heart.

Completely understand that times are particularly hard at the minute, so would be incredibly grateful for anything at all that you can spare, even if it's just the time to share my page.
