Story

Please join us on Saturday 14th September for a singing corner with ice cream .

Sybil our border terrier was Mark’s pal. She came into our lives as mark began to have difficulties  because of Huntington’s disease .

Sybil is also the inspiration for sybilontour a project to raise awareness of Huntington’s.

So please join us share your photos of sybilontour any memories of Mark and a video of your own singing corner and ice cream.

Everyone welcome in a disease lasting many years and generations there have been moments of joy and laughter and to share on Saturday would I hope be a fitting memory to a life cut short xxxx

About the charity

Started in November 1981 with two strays in Southampton, we now cover the UK, receiving some 250 referrals annually, with dedicated volunteers and no paid staff. A committee of 12 is elected annually at an October AGM. 10 of these are charity trustees, who meet 4 times a year to review progress and determine strategy. BTW receive invaluable support and assistance from 7 regional breed clubs, and from the more informal btposse, and borderfest groups, from whom fund raising challenges have emanated.
