I want to reach out to the dog lovers among my friends and family to help me raise funds for a wonderful charity that is very dear to my heart. 

I have long been an admirer of the work Julie and the rest of the team do over at NISBTR (Northern Ireland Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue).

I hope, that in competing in this year's Belfast marathon, I can yes, raise money, but also raise the profile of this wonderful charity and  promote the fantastic work they do. 

For you generous donors out there, I ask only that you give what you can, as any amount of money toward Staffy Rescue is appreciated. 

I had great success the last time round raising funds for the same cause, and this time I'm confident we can achieve it again.
