A big challenge completed! The Royal Parks Half Marathon Virtual- April 2021. Sunday 11th April to be precise. A day before our shops reopened after Covid-19 restrictions!!! Yes, I completed my Half Marathon in a PB time on The RPHM App of 03:32:19 (three hours thirty-two minutes and nineteen seconds). You can see my result on The Royal Parks website, under my full first name of 'Jacqueline' (rather than 'Jackie'). What a day! Sunny, then swallowing snowflakes, running up and down hills, avoiding big potholes in a rural hilly area. One curious farmer asked me as I ran past: "How many laps are you doing?" as I passed by his front door on several laps!!! Not every day you see a Half Marathoner in a rural area passing your farmyard! A Half Marathon Challenge completed in a PB (Personal Best) time, I'd love you to join me in adding to my fundraising target in aid of The Children's Trust. A HEARTFELT BIG THANK YOU TO ALL MY DONORS! Oh, and yes, my aching limbs and body were back on the "start line" the very next dayI Our The Children's Trust- Sevenoaks Shop- reopened on Monday 12th April. Yes, I did have a big smiley face as we all welcomed our customers, colleagues, volunteers, and donors back into our Sevenoaks Shop. Targets exceeded in all ways!!!
