Story
The story begins that late last year we were severely duped into believing it would be a fabulous idea for us to partake in the 2010 Virgin London Marathon.
Being assisted blondes we promptly fell for this ridiculous opportunity to swap our previous Bridget Jones lifestyles with evenings of vodka & Chaka Khan to subject ourselves instead to 5 months of running (pain) and helathy eating (misery).
So since December 7th we started on the attached training schedule come drizzle, hail, sleet and snow, through Christmas, New Year, mud, muscular pain, iPods stuck on tragic tunes - it's not easy to change selection whilst wearing fluorescent running gloves - up hills, down hills, in circles, and the worst bit? Through boredom - seriously 450 miles to date that's 75 hours we've run for what do you think we think about it...?
So to the baseline– we’re doing this on behalf of the NFDC (National Federation of Demolition Contractors) who’s Charity Fund supports various good causes throughout the year The Snowdon Award Scheme being one of these.
