Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Run was GREAT! The atmosphere was fantastic - the craic was 90! For me the highlight was the last 2 miles - having come over the bow of a hill it was down to the sea with the red arrows providing a display! The worst bit was someone had taken my liquice allsorts out of my goody bag!!!!
For anyone that was interested - the ashes were driven past on an open top bus at the beginning while everyone sang jersulam - well everyone other than me - I totally missed the significance!
a big word of thanks to all the staff at the charity tent - a bottle of lucozade and bar of cholcolate never tasted so good!!
Last but by no means list a big thank you to everyone who supported me in any way - including my poor husband who had to mind the kids while I was training and then had to wait to see me finish in South Shields. Definitely an experience to be repeated. I chose to run for Meningitis Research. Some of you may know that my Godchild, Laura McGrath died of Meningitis. I hope that the money I raised will help the charity prevent another family going through the heartache of losing a child.
