Story
Keeping the AZ trail from Mexico to Utah maintained, safe and open for hikers, bikers and horse riders is important to me. David had the opportunity to bike a part of it in the Superstition Mountains a few years back and now I have an opportunity to hike a section south in the Santa Rita Mountains on October 9. We had one day hoped to enjoy some of the trail together. For those who love the outdoors, stay safe, enjoy nature and stop and smell the flowers!
If you would like to support me and my team by donating to the Arizona Trail Association, thank you
Jackie
About AZT in a Day:
AZT in a Day is an October tradition that engages the public to hike, bike, ride, or run the entire length of the Arizona Trail (AZT) from Mexico to Utah. This 800-mile challenge raises awareness and funds to fulfill the Arizona Trail Association's mission: to protect, maintain, enhance, promote and sustain the Arizona Trail as a unique encounter with the land. I'm participating in AZT in a Day to help fundraise and support trail construction and maintenance; youth programs that empower the next generation of stewards; the Veterans Outreach Program; and the TrailCAM wildlife monitoring program. My goal is to raise $500 and all donations are 100% tax deductible and go directly to supporting the Arizona Trail Association. And remember, every donor who donates at least $25 will receive their own AZT in a Day 2021 sticker following AZT in a Day.
