Story
Most of you know that my daughter Lucy had a breast cancer diagnosis a few years ago. It took 8 months before they took her seriously which was possibly why it had spread to a lymph node. She was just unlucky. There is no genetic link that predisposed her to getting cancer. She just got it. Hopefully as you can see from the picture her hair is growing back (and fingers crossed her toe and fingernails have stopped dropping off now!) and she is looking beautiful.
Sooooooooo I thought I would jog the 5k as opposed to walking it. Maybe because I need to challenge myself.....maybe because compared to what people who have cancer lurking in their family like a bad fairy at a christening, it is nothing to what they go through. Maybe next time I will run it.
So for all those fighting the fight ....please donate. Doesn't matter if it isn't much. Every penny counts.
