Edinburgh Marathon Festival Full Marathon 2014 · 25 May 2014 ·

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

I’m running the Edinburgh Marathon on May 25th.  After completing the Great North Run for the first time last year I thought I’d set a new challenge for 2014.

I’m running for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research in memory of Daniel Appleby who sadly passed away in 2012.  So far his family and friends have done an amazing job in raising money for the charity and I would like to continue to build upon their great work.

I’ve been putting the miles in on the road and will continue to do so up until the Marathon to make sure I finish in a respectable time.  If you are able to donate even the smallest amount of money it would be hugely appreciated, you would be supporting a great cause.

Thanks for visiting my page.
