We fund specialist equipment to improve the lives of disabled children

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

Below is a description of why I'm doing this, what Newlife does and how it helps disabled children, and how you can find out more about what they do (TL;DR at the bottom).

In the coming weeks, I'm participating in the Jailbreak challenge in order to fundraise for NewLife. Thechallenge consists of teams trying to get as far away from the uni as possible in 36hrs. The catch? You can't spend any money during it... People in the past have managed to get as far as Oman, Thailand and even the US!!!

Newlife was selected to be the charity for this event and it is certainly a worthwhile cause. They provide numerous services which focus around providing help to disabled children and their families such as providing emergency equipment grants/loans, a free helpline to those who need it and provide "play pods", a collection of specialist toys for children to play with and learn about the world. One particular example that stood out of how newlife makes a difference is the following video: https://youtu.be/dFV93x6FkrY. One of the numerous examples of just how newlife has helped families across the UK.

By donating though justgiving.com, all donations go directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated and go to a worthy cause!!!

TL;DR: I'm doing the Jailbreak challenge charity event and through this, raise money and awareness for NewLife; the charity for disabled children. To this end, I'll be running a half marathon so if you'd like to sponsor me click on the Donate button on this page or text "HAMA72 £5" to 70070. It is an extremely good cause and all money goes directly to the charity.
