The challenge is to move my fat arse 40 miles in 4 weeks.  This is by walking, jogging (HA!) or running (Not a chance in hell!).  For those of us that don't know, that's 64 and a bit kilometres.

My target is to raise £500 and I'm sure I have enough generous friends and colleagues that can help me smash that target.

• £10 could provide a wonderful hot meal to an inpatient 
• £41.78 could fund the equivalent of one specialist canula infusion set to administer pain relief
• £43.00 could fund the equivalent of four 30-minute Telephone Befriending calls to individuals who are experiencing isolation and loneliness.
• £48.00 could fund the equivalent of four nutritious home-cooked meals, these three course meals are for those staying with us on our inpatient unit.
• £400 could fund the equivalent of one night-sitting session, ensuring loved ones get a good night’s sleep knowing their family member is in safe hands.
