Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving

23rd August 2021 my Nephew, 29 Years old, became a Victim of Crime..

After becoming Godparents, he and his Fiancee were out celebrating and the Night ended up changing his life.

I won't go into too much detail, but I will tell you that the weapon used was a piece of glass that went 14 cms into his Stomach and twice in his back. Leaving him with 74 Staples and the damage in his stomach meant he had to have some of his Bowel removed.

This attack has left my Nephew Physically and Mentally scarred.

The people who commit these Crimes dont see the aftermath they have left behind. The effect it has on the Victims and the Family. The pain around them.

When I asked my Nephew how he felt now he said "  Still bad Anxiety, depression and suffering with panic attacks. Wont go anywhere on my own. Feeling good apart from that and looking forward to getting Married in October "

So when im Running the London Marathon, My Nephew, his Fiancee and their Son will be Flying out to become Husband and Wife and set to get Married on 7th October.

So Steven, this Run is for you and everyone else who has been Victims of Crime.
