Story
Hi Everyone!
Gilling Dod who I work for, are working in conjunction with Alder Hey, Liverpool Womens and Galliford Try, to deliver a new extension at Alder Hey for their new Neonatal unit. The pressures faced for both premature, newborns and their parents have been forefront in our Practice’s design. The new facility will ensure their time spent at Alder Hey will allow close connection with their newborn/s through combined parent / cot rooms to allow close monitoring and bonding, whilst getting the care their little one needs, amongst other key facilities provided as part of the wider extension design.
I have been fortunate to work on the project myself and it will be a fantastic facility on its completion.
Gilling Dod are looking to raise £50,000 for Alder Hey, with a number of events lined up this year. I will be taking part in a midnight walk up Snowdon on April 30th with a number of my colleagues spurring each other on.
We would be grateful if you would sponsor the event (no amount is too small!) to help contribute towards our charity target.
For anyone that has children, you can imagine just what a benefit these facilities will bring to parents and their new babies.
Any sponsorship would be gratefully received.
Many thanks
Jaclyn
Alder Hey Children's Charity supports the amazing work done at Alder Hey every day. We aim to offer the best patient experience possible for every baby, child or young person who comes through our doors. This ranges from high tech surgical equipment and contributing to our 'big builds', to distraction technologies and arts and crafts materials, and almost everything in between including, of course, magic!
