Shaving my hair off to send to The Little Princess Trust so they can make wigs · 4 October 2020

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Thanks for having a look at my page!

I'm going to be shaving off the curls and hopefully raise some money while doing it. It costs about £550 on average for the charity to make a single real hair wig that would then be given free of charge to a child or young person who has lost their hair due to cancer.  I would love to raise enough to be able to cover the cost of making at least one wig for someone who needs it, so anything you could give would go a long way, it all adds up!

The Little Princess Trust:
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
