Our world ended the day Jacob was born too soon on the 9th of September 2013. Our beautiful baby boy with all our hopes, dreams and aspirations was in such a hurry to meet us that his tiny little body could not sustain him and he was born sleeping. We've found the passing of time since his birth and death to be the hardest challenge we've ever faced and I miss him so much each and every day.

All my friends and family have been an amazing support to us but some very special angel mummies at Sands have been an incredible support to me. Without their support I don't know where I would be.

As we prepare for our son's funeral on Friday 18th of October many friends have asked about sending flowers but instead if anyone would like to donate to sands for all the support they willingly give and continue to give to the growing numbers of bereaved families like ourselves every day. I can't believe 17 families go through this hell every single day in the UK and their support is invaluable to so many.
