We raise money for Testicular Cancer to improve awareness and save lives!

Story

Thank you for visiting the page. I typically do Movember for a general cause around men’s health both physical and mental, but on this occasion it’s more personal and hits home a bit harder.

One of my teammates at Hammersmith has had testicular cancer recently and has made a really good recovery, with an expectation that he has beaten it. What lands a bit more is that this chap is physically fit and healthy (apart from the aggressive pints he no doubt drinks on the weekend) yet is only in his mid 20s. It’s all too easy for men to ignore the advice around checking yourself given it seems taboo and you may think it won’t happen to you, but it just goes to show it can happen to any of us.

I hope you find a couple of quid in your wallet to throw to the donation pool and for those that see me over the next month, I can only apologise….
