Help Musicians is a charity for professional musicians of all genres, both in work and in retirement. We help at times of crisis, but also at times of opportunity, giving people the support they need at the crucial stages that could make or break their career.

Story

Many people involved in music dedicate their lives because they are so committed to what music means. They don't always -or even often - do it for money, but for the pleasure it gives and their love of their calling. I have been really lucky to have had great teachers who have taught me not only how to play instruments and understand music, but also some of life's other lessons.

I am raising funds- through racing in my second triathlon, (which due to my age will be longer than last year's) - for Musicians Benevolent Fund which supports:

- Musicians at the start of their careers, who need help whilst joining the profession.

- Musicians who have a crisis, such as illness or accident during their working lives.

- Musicians who are thinking about retirement, as well as those later on in their lives.

To qualify for help, a musician need not be a member or even a supporter. The main criterion is working in, or having worked in, the music profession.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
