The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity. We have been there for all members of the RAF Family for over 100 years. Last year we assisted more than 70,000 members of the RAF Family. Support us in 2024 and help us reach even more members of the RAF Family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi, I'm 7 years old and I want to be a pilot in the RAF when I'm older. Because of all the wonderful opportunities I have had from the 'RAF Family', to say thank you I have decided that on 28th August 2021 I am going to climb the UK's highest mountain, Ben Nevis in Scotland and as with all my challenges I'll be wearing my trusty RAF flying suit. The distance I'll cover is just over 10 miles and I'll be climbing 1,352 meters to reach the summit.

This will be my hardest challenge to date because it's nearly twice as high as any mountain I've climbed before and I will also have to deal with the low temperatures at the summit and possible bad weather when climbing to such a height.

I have previously raised money for the RAF Benevolent Fund by climbing Pen-Y-Gent when I was five and when I was six I walked from the former site of RAF Manston to the Battle of Britain Memorial in Kent on the 80th anniversary the Battle of Britain ended, covering some 35 miles over two days.

Please sponsor me what you can to help me support the RAF Family from veterans who fought for our freedom to current serving personnel and their family's who help keep the skies we live under safe, especially during the recent Pandemic. Please remember though if you can't sponsor me just share my JustGiving Page on social media so someone else might donate instead. Thank you.
