Story
I’m taking part in a 10km run at Aintree Racecourse this Saturday (before the Leicester game) to raise funds for James’ Place - a charity dedicated to helping men in suicidal crisis.
I want to do my bit to help a local charity, and of course remember our good friend Young Mick, who left us just over a year ago in terrible circumstances.
I understand that 10km isn’t a huge distance, but it’s realistic for me, and I hope it’s something some of you could potentially get behind.
Suicide is a real issue in today’s society, and I want to do my bit in raising awareness. Speaking out is a strength and not a weakness.
If any of you think that you could get behind me and help to support this fantastic charity with any donation, it would be greatly appreciated. Please message me and let me know so I could send you more details. However, there’s no pressure to do so at all so please do not feel like you have to contribute - I’m grateful for you even taking the time to read this.
Thank you.
