Since our move in 2014 to First Street, the new cultural quarter of Manchester, Jacobs staff have been volunteering at the Halle’ Orchestra’s Come & Play concerts for
school children which are held at the nearby Bridgewater Hall.  This year we decided to go one step further. A group of staff are running for The Charles Hallé Foundation alongside musicians from Team Halle’. The Foundation supports the Hallé's youth,
education and outreach work, enabling it to reach 250,000 people each year and
create opportunities for children and young people to hear the sound of an
instrument or full orchestra for the very first time. These musical experiences
can be life changing, and something which we want to help the Halle’ keep
delivering for as long as possible. 

Our team from the Manchester Offices comprises a mixed bunch of absolute beginners and not so beginner runners who all have a dual aim of raising money and
getting fit and healthy into the bargain. All fat lost during training will be
donated free of charge. ..

With your help we can help all children in Greater Manchester enjoy the experience of
playing with an orchestra and expressing themselves through music.
