WaterAid is an international non-profit with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity.

Story

Following the success of recent sailing events on the Clyde  which have raised over £30,000 for WaterAid and other charities, this year's Clyde Marine Challenge will sail from Largs on Friday 11 September for Rothesay then Tarbert braving fair weather or foul returning on Sunday 13 September.

WaterAid works in partnership with local organisations to help communities establish sustainable water supplies and sanitation close to home. However, with one in eight people worldwide are living without safe water – there is still much more to do.
