Shave date -Sunday 31st January at 4pm!!!!!!!

Hi, I am shaving my head!! And I know it’s going to look weird and it’s going to be cold , that it will take a long time to grow back and that i don’t just have to do it to support people going through it ! ( I have heard it all)

But that isn’t why I am doing it ,I’m doing it because life is important, we only live once and we should grab every opportunity and do things that make us think and take us out of our comfort zones, not only that,  I want to raise some serious money for a fantastic cause !!

I have done the sponsored walks, swims and other fundraisers, this time I want to  do something to make people stop, look, think and hopefully put their hands in their pockets , even if they have only a little to spare in these challenging times.

I am very aware that these covid times have caused everything to be put on hold . Fundraisers have been cancelled or postponed meaning that services such as Macmillan may have been compromised! 

I have lost lots of family members and friends throughout my life due to cancer including my Dad and Grandparents and currently have family members  and  special friends going through chemo and battling cancer ! The support received from Macmillan is outstanding !

This is my way of supporting and giving a little back to both them and the amazing people that support them through their difficult journeys!!

I plan to have a laugh and have some fun along the way, so expect a few surprises on the run up to the big chop!!
