Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Jacqui was such a loved person – kind and caring, thoughtful and
generous. She was selfless – always putting the needs and comfort of those she loved above her own; always thinking of what she could do to help make anyone’s life a bit easier.

Jacqui’s death has left a deep sense of great sadness amongst
everyone who knew her and loved her.
It’s incredibly hard to accept that we have to say goodbye. Jacqui was only 67:
supposedly in the prime of her life, with much to look forward to.

Jacqui received the cruel diagnosis of lung cancer.  The illness
had already taken its hold, and there was little to be done, and there is a sense of shock and disbelief as we struggle to come to terms with losing Jacqui from our lives. Jacqui sadly lost her battle with cancer on 18th April 2023.

Thames Hospice were there to support Jacqui and the whole family from the minute they walked through the doors, we were greeted with love and compassion.

We are raising money for Thames Hospice in loving memory of My Mammy. We would like to return the support they have shown us by raising as much money for Thames Hospice, so in turn they can help others that find themselves in the same situation as our family
