Set up in honour of Hector Giles Henry Stringer, who took his own life in 2011 at the age of 18. His friends and family would do anything to have him back and to prove to him and others in crisis that things can and will get better, suicide is preventable and there is help, we are here to help.

Story

Roxy and Emma are cycling the equivalent of London to Paris (390km) between them, to help raise money for local charity Hector’s House.

Hector Stringer took his life at the tender age of 18. He didn't realise that things can and do get better and he didn't reach out to his friends and family to ask for help when he needed it most. Hector’s House believe that suicide can be prevented, if we all realise that mental health is fluid, that you can get help, you are not alone, people do care.

Roxy and Emma are raising money so that hopefully, suicide can be prevented  though increased awareness, education and support.
