I am part of a group of Aston Villa fans who will be spending nine days volunteering over the Easter holiday at a school in Nakuru, Kenya. The chance to take part in this event was too good an opportunity to miss as it mixes my job as a teacher, being a Villa fan and the opportunity to do something worthwhile. It was my Grandad who encouraged me to sign up in 2019. He said to me: "I am too old to do it, you're not, so go and do it whilst you're still young enough". Sadly he is no longer with us so I am doing it for him.
