London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·

We support young people and adults with mental health issues in Manchester. We're an independent, self-financed charity offering services to those most in need. We promote positive attitudes to mental health to challenge stigma, increase awareness and work for better mental health for all.

Story

A few of you know that my mum took her own life when I was 18 because she felt she couldn’t carry on and had many mental health struggles. Something which has profoundly affected me and my family’s lives. Mental health is a topic so incredibly close to my heart and this year I have been given the honour and privilege of a place to run in the TCS London Marathon on 23rd April.

I was staying quiet about it but I can’t to miss a fabulous opportunity to give back and. have decided to try and raise funds for Manchester Mind.

Manchester Mind is an independent, local charity, which supports over 7,000 children, young people and adults each year. They believe that everyone deserves to be supported in their mental health needs and we all have a part to play in that.

So with all of that in mind, I’m currently 6 weeks out, have completed over 450km in training runs and would very appreciate it if you could donate anything at all.

I will be able to match funds  through work up to £500

I know times are tough, so anything you came give us so very much appreciated
