Now that I am in my 35th year (aaaarghhh!!) I feel the need to complete a new challenge in my life! Being a little too used to the joys of red wine and a hot water bottle I am totally pushing myself by completing this trek into the Arctic Circle.

Over 3 days we will trek over 65km through the arctic, camping out on frozen lakes in temperatures that can fall below minus 25 degrees! This is no doubt a huge undertaking and as someone that would never be described as ‘outdoorsy’ will be a massive challenge including all the training beforehand.

I am so proud to be doing this for When You Wish Upon a Star, an amazing charity who grant the wishes of children aged 2-16 who live with a life threatening illness.

My aim is to raise £5000 which would provide a family with magical memories through what is an exceptionally hard time in their lives.
