Jacqui is fundraising for Wildlife Vets International

London to Brighton Cycle Ride 2021 · 19 September 2021 ·
Thank you for taking a look at my Just Giving Page.
Since I started taking wildlife photographs several years ago, I have taken much more of an interest in nature and conservation. There are so many beautiful animals and birds around us - it would be such a shame if any of these species were to become extinct.
At the beginning of 2020 I signed up to the London to Brighton Bike Ride as a personal challenge and to repay the wildlife that has given me so much pleasure over the past few years. I picked Wildlife Vets International as my charity of choice.
WVI provides an amazing service to the international conservation community, by providing veterinary expertise around the world to save endangered species such as the Amur tiger, the painted wolves in Africa and even the UK's own pine martens.
For the past few months I have been cycling around Richmond Park as it is a great training ground and it means I can see the deer and other wildlife that live there. I'm now beginning to build up to longer rides in preparation for the 50 odd miles I will be covering on 19 September. I'm not a natural cyclist but I love the sense of freedom it gives me and it's great seeing my fitness improve!
I know lockdown has been tough on many individuals and charities alike but I would be grateful if you were able to help me support WVI in any way you can. Every donation counts to ensure that future generations can enjoy our natural world and the incredible species that live within it.
Thank you for reading this.
