I am raising money for Harrogate Brigantes Rotary Club, who in turn will send the money I raise to The Alzheimer's Association. 

The Rotary club is important to my Dad.  As a long term member, the meetings & the friendships have helped him and his mental health, whilst he looked after his wife, my Mum.

With Harrogate Brigantes supporting The Alzheimer's Association, it makes an ideal link and a special  importance to me and my family as we all support my Mum through this horrible disease.

My challenge involves a half iron man- 1.4mile swim, 56 mile cycle and a half marathon. Done over 3 days in July. This is a real challenge for me but nothing compared to the challenge people with dementia face every day.
