This
just giving page contains information of domestic abuse and homicide that some
may find distressing. There is information at the bottom of the page relating
to support and services you can access.

On the 5 June 2020 our world was shattered with the devastating news that our beautiful daughter had been savagely murdered, by the hands of a monster, that she had found the strength to walk away from a few weeks before. We knew nothing of the domestic abuse she had been a victim of for six months prior to her death until May 2020. Amy-Leanne had hid it so well. I her mam now live with the guilt that I hadn’t seen any signs and if I had I could have somehow prevented it. Amy-Leanne joined the British Army at 16 and served her country in Afghanistan. She was a serving Army Reservist at the time of her murder and worked as a civilian for the Army Careers Service. Alongside this Amy-Leanne was a self-employed Personal Trainer with a fabulous reputation. She had spent two years competing in bodybuilding competition’s where she went on to win Miss Great Britain November 2017 in Norway. Amy-Leanne was one of the strongest young ladies you could wish to meet and was and still is loved by everyone that has the privilege of knowing her. Her personality and smile could light up any room and she lived her life for others. Her character and strength would never allow others to control her. If this BEAST that murdered her could take over her mind and life then this can happen to anyone. Amy-Leanne was determined, successful and had a passion and flair for life. She thought she could save the world and gave everyone a fair chance despite their background. “Everyone has a story mum,” she would say, everyone deserves a second chance. She gave this monster more chances than he ever deserved, and it cost her, her life. Leaving behind her daughter Aurora and a Niece Layla-Beau and  Nephew Hendrix, that she adored. We are nearly 2 years now without her, but her story doesn’t end here. Her Legacy will live on through her big sister Gemma-Louise and the little ones.

Here is where we ask for you help. Winstons Wish are a charity that support Grieving children, especially around Homicide. We are confident that they will be a bigger blessing for us moving
forward. We want to continue the wonderful charity work Amy-Leanne did and help support this wonderful charity who rely on public donations

On the 5thof June 2022 Myself, My husband Damo, Son-in-law Craig, and his dad Ian, Niece Georgia, Amy's best friends Chloe and  Moisha. And our close family friends Emma, Clare,  Nick W and Nick D will take on, for the 2nd year a half Marathon around Amy-Leanne’s Landmarks in Doncaster. We will end at our scheduled destination, where we will Celebrate Amy-Leanne’s life the way she deserves. (Now Covid restrictions have finally been lifted.)  We will hold a family and friends fun day with  a Charity Auction and fundraiser and all proceeds will go to Winston’s Wish.
