Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Jane was only 47 when she died on 27th September 2018 from breast cancer, which had spread to her back, lungs and brain. She was fortunate enough to be able to spent the last few weeks of her life being cared for by the most amazing bunch of people at St Michael's Hospice. This team ensured that she was comfortable, well cared for and all her needs were met. It was whilst she was there that she asked me if I would consider doing some fundraising for them, by way of thank you.
Jane was (and still is) my best friend for 27 years that were filled with love, laughter and plenty of shenanigans! I will miss her more than I can say, and so in memory of her, and to fulfil that promise, I will be swimming the length of Lake Windermere two way (a very long twenty one miles!) in August 2019.
It's really easy to donate, and your money will mean that they are able to support even more people with terminal illness, so please, dig as deeply as you can.
I'm keeping people updated regularly via a weekly YouTube vlog. Look for Open Water Woman, and you should find me.
