Thank you all very much for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Team Haynett (Simon Hayman and the Bennett family) are embracing the challenge of cycling the 100 mile Prudential London-to-Surrey Ride in August 2015. We will each tackle a rigorous training programme to ensure we are race-ready and cross the finish line with a smile (...yet probably not in style!!).
We (Simon and Jade) have set a goal to raise £600 for Longfield in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire. In raising this money, we would like to give something back to our wonderful community in memory of a kind, beautiful and very brave friend - Lara Crook who sadly passed away on 9th October 2014 aged only 23 years. Please help us reach this goal- any donation you can make, no matter how much, will be hugely appreciated and will help to maintain the fantastic services provided by Longfield.
Longfield provides incredible support to adults suffering life-limiting illnesses, offering a range of services free of charge. These include:
- Art and complimentary therapies
- Carer and family support
- Counselling
- Peer to Peer support
- Physiotherapy
- Information and advice
The extensive support provided by this fantastic community charity is invaluable. We greatly recognise the importance of supporting such charities to ensure communities can provide immediate help to those that need it.
