Mental health impacts most people in some way or another during our life times,  I am going to be spending 5 days trekking across The Great Wall of China to raise much needed funds for Mental Health UK.

Over the last 4 years I feel like anxiety has held me back and robbed me of memories and opportunities, I went through a period where I couldn't leave my house, I couldn't socialise or do any of the things I used to enjoy doing.  With the support from my partner, family & close friends I have began living my life again, I write about my progress and journey with mental health on a blog - approachwithcoffee.co.uk and this helps me a lot too.

My cousin Craig took his own life a year ago last December, this hit me extremely hard as you can imagine.  So as well as doing this challenge for myself I am also going to be thinking about Craig every step of the way.  He was a kind soul.

Any donations will mean the world - as you can imagine for someone who suffers with severe anxiety travelling to China with 34 others that i've never met is VERY overwhelming!  But its a challenge I know i'm strong enough to take on so please dig deep and help me raise funds for this incredible charity.
