Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After witnessing friends conquer the Brighton Marathon last year, a good friend of mine talked me into taking part this year.

I had already signed up for a half, so a terrified me...said yes!

I knew I wanted to run for a charity and there was no question about which one I would run for... NSPKU.

For those of you that don't know my youngest brother and sister have a genetic dietary condition which means that their bodies can't break down protein (Phenylketonuria or PKU). Everything they eat has to be weighed and recorded and a lot of their food is on prescription. My super mum deals with this everyday.

It is a rare condition and NSPKU brings families together, educates people and provides support and advice to those living with PKU . It allows Freya and Zac to live as normal life as possible. To find out more about the charity visit their website : www.nspku.org

Last April I couldn't run the mile from my flat to the marina without wanting to pass out. Since then I have been running (quite a lot) and have taken part in a half marathon and three 10k races. I am also running the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon in March before the big boy... the Brighton Marathon on the 12th April.

Please donate if you can, it is a small charity so every little helps.

Thanks again,

Jade
