Along with some budding volunteers we will be undertaking a multitude of events to raise money for a great cause!

• The first challenge will begin with Colin cycling 570 miles from Edinburgh to Harlow - COMPLETE!
• With help from two colleagues: Dawn and Hannah took part in a 12 hour Spinathon with Colin! - COMPLETE! Thank you!
• Vision Wild Run - Jade and Colin will be taking part in a 10k muddy obstacle race 4/10/14 - COMPLETE! (that was tough!)
• Althorp Olympic Duathlon - Jade and Colin will be Running 10k Followed by a 40k Bike ride followed by a 5k Run! Neither of us have ever attempted a duathlon before! - COMPLETE! (Thats was tougher!!)
• Some more recruits: A group of Student Nurses, including myself will be taking part in a 5k Monster Run! including mud and obstacles! Participants at present: Myself, Yasmin Woodley, Mel Bambury, Catherine Lampard, Sarah Fisk, Rachel Board and Kerry Tuck! This course has now been extended to 6.5k.. much to the anger of my recruits ;-)! - COMPLETE!
• Christmas Market and Raffle (1/12/14 at 18:30 Thurleigh Sports and Social Club) with support from the lovely Louise Edwards. - COMPLETE!
• March 6th Quiz Night at The Con Club Kempston organised and supported by Ken Parsons! - COMPLETE!
• March 8th - MK Festival of Running Jade and Colin are entering the half marathon! PLUS - another brave (maybe slightly crazy?) recruit! Neil Bevan will be taking on the 20 Miler!! - WELL DONE NEIL! COMPLETE!
• March 21st Colin will be cycling from Bedford to London with one new recruit and one rerecruited! Good luck Dan Alexander, Ryan Alexander and Barry Kane! - COMPLETE!
• The 'Finale' will see us both taking part in The London Marathon 2015!
• In addition - Neil Bevan will be participating in a Half Marathon in MK on 4-5-15.

In both our working careers we have supported people who have experienced spinal cord injuries. We both enjoy full contact sports and have been fortunate enough to escape unscathed however we can appreciate how life-changing a spinal cord injury would be.

For 30 years Aspire have been raising funds to support spinal injured people throughout the UK helping them from injury to independence.
