I’m raising money for The Norfolk Hospice because they are committed to providing outstanding care for people in the local community living with life-shortening illnesses and to their carers, family and friends including bereavement support.

We both work for tapping house on the inpatient unit. Jade is a registered nurse and Rachel is a palliative nursing assistant. We both have witnessed the positive impact on what the hospice can provide to our patients and relatives. Being able to do the marathon on behalf of the hospice enables us to give something back and support a well worthy organisation. Rachel has also experienced the incredible care and support from the hospice at home team when they cared for her Mum at a critical time. This is one of the many reasons why she began her career in palliative care  

The support they provide is tailored to the individual, encompassing their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs in an understanding, caring and compassionate way, ensuring dignity is maintained throughout.
