I am taking part in a charity event which is to climb Snowdon at Sunrise.

The amount raised will help some of the 785 million people around the globe whom do not have access to clean water - a basic human right as our world is facing possibly some of the biggest challenges ever with climate change, countless conflicts and poverty. The need for clean and safe water is more important than ever.

Islamic Relief is working worldwide in over 40 countries to ensure that communities have a safe and reliable sources of water for life

The gift of water saves lives and Allah (SWT) tells us in the Quran, 'And whosoever saves one [a life] it is as if he has saved all of mankind.' (Quran 5:32).
