Jaime's Collas Crill Round the Island Walk page

Collas Crill Round the Island Walk · 18 June 2016
On Saturday 18th June, I will be taking on the Collas Crill challenge of walking 48.1 miles around the coastline of Jersey.
This is a gruelling walk due to the very rugged north coast with it’s very steep valleys and narrow cliff paths and makes up the majority of the walk.
I will be walking to raise awareness and funds for Jersey Action Against Rape ( JAAR ), a charity very close to my heart as it was set up by my sister Cassidy after her own horrendous experience. Cassidy found there was no support in Jersey for this very specialised area of sexualised trauma and vowed to do something to change that. She used all the money she received in damages in an out of court settlement to set up JAAR and thereby provide vital support for survivors ( and their families) of rape and sexual assault in Jersey.
JAAR was launched at the end of January 2015. At the end of May JAAR 2016 took it's 78th client for one to one counselling. There have been over 250 calls to the helpline.
Please support me in raising funds for this vital charity.
