A REQUEST FOR IMMEDIATE SUPPORT

JAMIA AL-KARAM IS SEEKING 180 Silver Sponsors of £500; or 90 Gold Sponsors of £1,000; or Platinum Sponsors of £1,000+; or any other amount large or small.

The Eaton Hall campus was built in the 1950s (pictured above) and acquired by Jamia Al-Karam in 1995. From old inefficient coal boilers, Jamia Al-Karam was able to install and move on to commercial oil boilers, which have served students of knowledge well for over 20 years. Due to their age and usage, the boilers have over the past weeks completely broken down and are now beyond repair.

Following extensive site surveys, Jamia Al-Karam has now commissioned the installation of a new central heating and hot water boiler plant fuelled by LPG gas. This plant must be installed within the coming weeks or else Jamia Al-Karam will not be able to remain open for students this coming winter. The plant includes 5 ACV Prestige 120 kw LPG boilers, 600kw plate heat exchanger, central heating pumps, 100 litre expansion vessel, primary pipework, electric rewiring, external LPG gas storage tanks and service tunnel. This is costing £70,000.

£70,000 - New LPG boiler plant and storage tanks

£20,000 - New concrete roof above kitchen stores
