Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Daisy chain helped me and my family through some difficult times. Thanks to their support I have learned how to understand my autism and how this effects my every day life. I have developed coping mechanism and social skills thanks to the help and support at daisy chain. I am now successfully attending 6th Form college and I also had the confidence to join Crossfit  just under 2 years ago now and this has really helped with my social skills. It was at crossfit that I realised  I had a talent for running, and now with the friends I've made there we have decided to enter the Great North run. A  group of us along with our head coach Lisa Peart (who has always been there to support me),  want to raise money for this excellent cause. I hope to raise all the money I can but any over the 100% I would like to donate to cancer research in memory of my Grandad Doug who I know would be very proud if he was still here today. So please give what you can.

Thank you Jake
