I'm taking part in the Run Balmoral 10K, Edinburgh Half Marathon and Baxters Loch Ness Marathon to raise vital funds for maternal health research at the University of Aberdeen!The research taking place at the Aberdeen Centre for Women's Health Research (ACWHR) is dedicated to finding important answers to maternal health issues including fertility issues, maternal nutrition & social issues, miscarriage & still birth, and post-natal complications. From 2024, the team will be based alongside NHS colleagues in the new Baird Family Hospital allowing them to work together to provide the best patient care to women and their families locally and internationally.
