Kenyawi Kids supports self-sustainability in orphan care in Malawi. We work with over 300 children. Kenyawi Kids partners include STEKA, Mayamiko, Catch the Fish and Chimembe Orphan Care. If you would like to support a specific partner, please mention this when donating & 100% will go to them!

Story

My name is Jake, and I am walking for Kenyawi Kids, or more specifically Yamikarni house. They are in an emergency situation and I would like to raise as many funds as I can to keep this amazing orphanage and nursery going!

Thieves have broken into the nursery through the windows (they need repairing) and stolen: chairs, papers, pens, chalk, picture cards and the blackboard. The building has been emptied out, and unfortunately, the teachers have consequently been laid off and are now unemployed.

All money donated will go into repairing, restocking and funding wages for the nursery and teachers.

I am hiking the 135km Hadrian's Wall Path BAREFOOT from Bowness-on-Solway over to Newcastle Quayside.  I aim to complete this over 5 days, from the 31st of October to the 4th of November!
