CHUF is our chosen charity which is a charity that will always be so close to our own hearts & we are extremely grateful to be given the opportunity to run the race again this year to raise as much funds as possible & awareness of congenital heart diseases. 🏥❤️

Our journey started with CHUF when our beautiful baby boy, Finley Jake was born with a condition called Trucus Arteriosus which meant he needed OHS within days of his life. 💔
Our heart warrior is now 15months & living his best life. However we still attend the Freeman hospital for regular check ups as Finley’s valves will inevitably need replacing & only time will tell. ❤️‍🩹

Chuf themselves raises vital funds for large and small pieces of equipment, facilities, aftercare, salaries and research. The equipment that Chuf helped provide, has no doubt saved Finley’s life. CHUF are a charity that help all heart hero families when their days can seem dark & sad whilst living in hospital.

Chuf's mission is to make life better for children and young people who are born with or who develop heart conditions by providing lifelong support to them and their families. Chuf supports children and families who receive treatment at the Children’s Heart Unit based at the Freeman Hospital and the many other hospitals providing care for cardiac patients throughout the North of England.
