So a year ago after having "a few rums" I started a coversation rabbiting on about how one day i would do a marathon,cause they're easy...     ...i had a very hazy memory of this...    ...my worst fears were then confirmed when i checked my email the next day and discovered and email from The Brighton Marathon confirming my acceptance into the race...

Well that was a year ago...  and being a man of my word, I will be running for 42km next Sunday...           ...have a worked hard for this? Well, yes, bloody hard...  ...all those cold winter nights when you were at the pub, or watching tele, I have been out running...   ...did I enjoy it?  no!   im not a runner, i've never run before in my life, so its a first for me...     another thing to bear in mind is, from my rudimentry calculations, I will be completley ruined and in a world of pain with about an hour left to run...   ...so in short, what im saying is this is not going to be easy...       ...i have learnt my lesson!  Please show me the love and give us a quid so I can maintain the pain. Thanks lovely people! xx
