After my older brother Ash suffered a brain injury at the age of 26 back in 2013, he unfortunately now needs full-time care and resides in a specialist brain rehabilitation centre in Stocksbridge, Sheffield.

THE CHARITY - Nordoff Robbins

As part of Ash’s rehabilitation, the charity Nordoff Robbins visits Ash's rehab centre providing him with priceless music therapy sessions which we hope will continue.

With Ash previously being a keen drummer, we see the benefits & joy it brings to him having the sessions but also the joys and a sense of involvement it brings to the other individuals that also require care at the centre.

The charity doesn’t just help people with brain injuries caused by trauma, it helps anyone with life-limiting illnesses, disabilities or those with feelings of isolation.

FUNDRAISING EVENT - London Marathon, Sunday 2nd October 2022 (previously entered the 2020 race but the event got cancelled due to COVID)
