Story
On the 21st April 2024 I will be running in the TCS London Marathon.
In March 2020 my older brother, Harry at age 21, was unfortunately diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Following diagnosis he had chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. A year later, unfortunately he relapsed and had to have a second bone marrow transplant. He recovered well from this and was living his life to the full. Sadly in November 2023 he relapsed for a second time and we had the upsetting the news that this time it was going to be terminal.
Teenage Cancer Trust has given him fantastic support over the last 3 years and continue to do so everyday. I would like to thank them for their support and care, they have been amazing.
I am unbelievably grateful that they have awarded me a charity place and am looking forward to completing the tough challenge ahead.
I have started the 16 week training plan and am looking forward to losing the Christmas timber whilst running and training in the cold winter months.
Any donations and support will be really gratefully received.
