Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 19th August, 6 RNLI Lifeguards will be completing the Rescue Board Challenge- a gruelling 8.5 mile open water paddle from Whitsand Bay to Looe, using nothing but their arms. All money raised for this event will go to the Whitsand Bay/Seaton Lifeguards (Saltash Lifeguard Area), where we hope to use the money to buy a new performance Surf Rescue Board. Our Lifeguards are currently training hard for this event, and can be spotted paddling long distances after hours in Whitsand Bay. Another 2 Lifeguards will be providing voluntary safety cover for this event, from an Arancia Inshore Rescue Boat. A massive thank you from the whole Lifeguard Team for your support during this event!

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
