Story
Hello to the wonderful friends, family, colleagues and extended networks of Jake or Nicki or both Jake and Nicki. And if you're not sure who either of these people are, you're welcome too kindly stranger.
If you're here you've clicked on a link someone's sent you, which means you're probably true of heart, charismatic, stylish, and interested in supporting Mind. If that's the case then we (and many others) would both be immensely grateful if you clicked ‘Give Now’ and shared what you can with Mind.
We've been mates for more than 20 years now, and looking back that friendship's had a huge impact on both of us, in more ways than we could list. Not least is the effect it's had on our physical health - we've been pushing, encouraging and challenging each other on a regular basis for two decades in support of the other's fitness. And the same goes for our mental health too - the same kind of pushing, encouraging and challenging, but in support of a different kind of wellness in the other.
On the 21st April this year we'll be lacing up our Nikes and hitting the streets of London town to take on the challenge of the marathon, in the name of friendships and all the good they can bring about.
From Mind:
When you're experiencing a mental health problem, supportive and reliable information can change your life. That's what we do. We empower people to understand their condition and the choices available to them through the following:
-Our Infoline, which offers callers confidential help for the price of a local call.
-Our Legal Line, which provides information on mental health related law to the public, service users, family members/carers, mental health professionals and mental health advocates.
-Our award-winning information, certified by the PIF Tick.
"Mind was such an invaluable source of information. I can't put into words how helpful they were for both of us..."
