Event: Sheffield Half Marathon 2023, on 26 March 2023
We care for children with shortened lives to support them and their families.

Story

On March 26th, I will be running the Sheffield half marathon to raise money for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

For those that don’t know, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice is an incredible charity that cares for children and young adults whose lives are sadly just too short. Based
in North Anston, they aim to help families facing the toughest times. Check out their website for more information: BlueBellWood.org.

Every day, they need to rise almost £14,000 to keep their doors open. The vast majority of that is raised through fundraising. So please, donate anything you can afford in these difficult times – and lets help this incredible organisation.

Please share with family, colleagues and friends too.

About the charity

At Bluebell Wood, we care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. We support hundreds of families, both in our hospice and in family homes. It costs around £6.5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. We receive 16% Statutory funding.
