Martlets do an incredible job caring and supporting for those affected by life-limiting illnesses including terminal cancer, motor neurone disease, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and heart disease, it's been a charity close to the hearts of many families locally. They recently looked after one of my best friends mums, making sure she was as comfortable as possible through her final stages. I'm raising money for Martlets so they can continue to support local families like this through the toughest of times.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Martlets' community nurses have been working harder than ever to provide essential care and support to local people. It's been a hugely challenging time for the team and the community, and demand for their support has never been higher. Martlets usual fundraising activities have been hit hard by the pandemic, with fundraising events being cancelled and their shops closed. So I am running the Brighton Marathon as a way to support Martlets and help support families living with a terminal illness.I know things aren't easy at the moment, but anything you can donate will help Martlets nurses keep caring and supporting local people when they need it the most.Thank you so much in advance for your generosity.
